Search for a Pharmacy or Medical Equipment Supplier
Find what you are looking for where you need it
Drugs and medical supplies may be available at a pharmacy. Additionally, medical supplies are available at a DME Supplier.
Use the search tool to locate a pharmacy or DME supplier near you that takes Medicaid Fee for Service:
  1. Name (optional): Provide at least the first three letters of the pharmacy or supplier's name. For example, enter "Wal" to search for pharmacies including Walgreens and Walmart
  2. Select Service: Select the type of service location
  3. Select County OR Zip Code and Within: Select either a county or enter a zip code and select a distance range within miles. The tool will search based on the distance from the zip code.
You may need to use the +/- buttons to see all results on the map. If you do not find the name of your pharmacy or supplier in the search results, try a broader search by leaving the name field blank. If you are searching by zip code, you may need to adjust the distance range.
Please note the following:
  • Not all pharmacy names will be an exact match. If the pharmacy name in the list is not an exact match, check if the address matches the pharmacy you are looking for.
Examples of pharmacy names that may appear differently in the tool:

Search Tips for Finding a Pharmacy or Durable Medical Equipment Supplier

In addition to your community pharmacy, the Medicaid program enrolls specialized pharmacy providers that may offer services that are unavailable or limited at your retail pharmacy. You should contact your community pharmacy directly to confirm the availability of specialty, infusion, durable medical equipment, or compounding pharmacy services.

It's important to note that while some pharmacies may offer delivery services, this is optional, and Medicaid members cannot be charged for delivery.

This tool can help you find a pharmacy or medical equipment supplier that takes NYRx. It can search for locations within and outside of New York State.

  5. Try a Broader Search if Necessary:
    • If your specific search yields limited or no results, consider leaving the name field blank to view all options available in your selected area.
  6. Check for Out-of-State Providers:
    • If you're looking for a pharmacy or supplier outside of New York State and cannot find them in the tool, refer to the Medicaid Enrolled Provider Listing for verification.
